Oberweis Ice Cream and Dairy Store

We had a wonderful experience! The staff was friendly, welcoming, and provided excellent customer service. The shop was clean, and made for a fun stop with family (my son loved playing chess while eating his favorite ice cream). We'll definitely be back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a sweet treat!

I had a great experience at Oberweis Ice Cream and Dairy Store. The ice cream I purchased to eat at home was incredibly rich, creamy, and flavorful, and you can really taste the quality of the ingredients. The milk shake was fresh, and the portions were generous. The shop was clean, welcoming, and had a nostalgic atmosphere that made the visit even more enjoyable. The new manager and employee were friendly, patient, and provided excellent customer service. Whether you’re stopping in for a quick treat or wanting a fundraiser Oberweis is a fantastic place to satisfy your sweet tooth. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Oberweis in Plainfield has delicious ice cream and outstanding customer service. I also appreciate their commitment to our community. They recently reached out to collaborate on a fundraising event benefiting the Kiwanis Club of Plainfield, which speaks volumes about their dedication to giving back. Highly recommend!

Absolutely adore this place, I buy my family ice cream from here one to two times a week. Incredible quality always, the only thing is, the wait time is wild. 10 minutes is the average, and I feel like its always short staffed.

Overall, the wait in the drive-thru wasn’t bad considering it was a Friday night. However, the girl at the window seemed to have very poor customer service skills. I understand being busy, but at least pretend to be nice… Also, my milkshake was completely watery and tasted more like flavored milk than a milkshake. Very disappointing.
